Job DescriptionBased at Claverhouse East, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.\n \nIf you have any queries regarding this vacancy, please contact Alison Mead on\n01382 438416 or email [email protected] will have 60 relevant credit points towards the first year of social work degree or equivalent (at SCQF level 7 or above, e.g. an HNC or SVQ Level 3 in a social care or social sciences field).Responsibilities​You will support services and undertake assessments as required to establish unmet need in accordance with our eligibility criteria. Work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.The IndividualYou will have experience of working with relevant service user groups.\n \nYou will have good oral and written communication skills, understanding of issues affecting relevant service group, good planning and organisational skills and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.\n \nYou will be able to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm.\n \nThis post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
