Site Supervisor

The Opportunity\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects across the UK.\n\nDue to an internal departure, the business is looking to secure a replacement at the earliest opportunity, with flexibility to engage on a short-term agency basis initially before transitioning into a permanent position.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of works on large-scale highways projects, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and in line with programme and quality expectations.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\n * Supervising site teams and subcontractors on major highways schemes\n\n * Coordinating daily site activities and short-term planning\n\n * Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards\n\n * Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site\n\n * Maintaining accurate records and site documentation\n\n * Supporting site management and liaising with key stakeholders\n\nRequirements\n\nTo be considered for this role, you must have:\n\n * Proven experience working on large highways / infrastructure projects\n\n * SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)\n\n * Valid CSCS Card\n\n * First Aid Qualification\n\n * Strong IT skills and ability to manage site documentation\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary package\n\n * Company commercial vehicle\n\n * 45-hour working week\n\n * Paid annual leave and benefits\n\n * Opportunity to move from agency to permanent employment\n\n * Long-term pipeline of major highways works
