Laboratory Systems Engineer

Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Systems Engineer on behalf of a medical diagnostic company on a permanent basis.\n\n The position will be office-based in Gateshead, working Monday – Friday.\n  \n This role focuses on the implementation, integration and troubleshooting of networked laboratory analysers and associated software. The role will also ensure the reliable data flow across database management systems, middleware, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) platforms.\n  \n This role is ideal for a candidate who understands both infrastructure and how laboratory data would flow between instruments, databases, and software systems.\n  \n Essential skills:\n\nStrong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.\nExperience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).\nFamiliarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud platforms.\nAbility to troubleshoot software applications and hardware components.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices.Desirable skills:\n\nExperience with LIMS or laboratory systems\nExperience in medical device/diagnostics environmentsApply:\n It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
