HGV Class 2 Tipper

Driver Hire Colchester and Sudbury is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Tipper Driver to support our clients in the construction, aggregates, and waste sectors.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.\n\n * \n\n Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.\n\n * \n\n Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).\n\n * \n\n Experience with Tippers is essential\n\n * \n\n Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).\n\nJob Details:\n\n * \n\n Start times: Typically between 05:00 and 07:00 AM.\n\n * \n\n Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed pay per day).\n\n * \n\n Pay rate: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.\n\n * \n\n PAYE - Accrue holiday or get paid it in your hourly rate.\n\n * \n\n Ongoing and ad-hoc work available with local and regional clients.\n\nKey Attributes:\n\n * \n\n Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.\n\n * \n\n Good understanding of driver hours and vehicle checks.\n\n * \n\n Experience in the construction or aggregates sector is beneficial.\n\n * \n\n Able to adapt to different sites and customer requirements
