HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Northampton (NN4 7PW)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Northampton. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.

Location: Northampton, NN4 7PW

Job Type: Ongoing Work

Pay Rate:

£18.50 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday
\n Night shifts
\n Start times vary from mid-afternoon through to 20:00
\n Average 10-hour shifts
\n Ongoing, consistent work available

The Role:

Completing trunking work between the clients hubs
\n Completing up to 2 runs per shift
\n Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
\n Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
\n Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
\n Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
\n Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n New passes welcome
\n Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
\n Valid CPC and Digi Card
\n Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
\n Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
