Head Housekeeper -- 3 Month Temporary Cover

Salary: £16.58 per hour\nLocation: Leicester, LE1\nWorking pattern: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week. This is a temporary cover role commencing 13 June 2026 for a period of 3 months.\n \nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a proven housekeeping leader to step in and lead, inspire and deliver excellence during a short-term absence cover period. You will thrive on delivering exceptional standards, motivating teams and exceeding client expectations.\n \nWhat you'll be doing\n• Leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve operational and client service excellence\n• Managing daily housekeeping operations including stock, linen, equipment and workflows\n• Maintaining health, safety and compliance standards\n• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients\n• Monitoring performance, managing budgets and optimising cost efficiencies\n• Recruiting, training and coaching team members, recognising and developing talent\n• Conducting regular room inspections to maintain quality and drive continuous improvement\n• Supporting business needs by providing site expertise, attending meetings and preparing reports\n \nWhat you'll bring\n• Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper, Deputy Head Housekeeper or Senior Supervisor in a hotel environment — essential, minimum 1 year required\n• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams\n• Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills\n• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance\n• Strong knowledge of health and safety and compliance standards\n• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills\n• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude\n• Ability to reliably commute to Leicester LE1\n• Available to commence 13 June 2026\n \nYou may have experience of the following: Head Housekeeper, Deputy Head Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, Senior Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Team Leader, Hotel Housekeeping Manager, Accommodation Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Senior Housekeeper.\n \nREF-(Apply online only)
