Lynx Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team maintaining parks, green spaces and public areas across the Wyre Forest district.

## The Role

\n

Working as part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you'll help maintain parks, open spaces, sports pitches and landscaped areas to a high standard.
\n Your duties will include:

\n

\n
• Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
\n
• Strimming and edging
\n
• Hedge cutting and pruning
\n
• Weeding and planting
\n
• Litter picking and emptying bins
\n
• Assisting with sports pitch marking
\n
• Carrying out site inspections
\n
• Completing daily vehicle, machinery and equipment safety checks
\n
• Recording completed work using manual or electronic systems
\n
• Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures
\n

## Working Hours

37 hours per week Monday to Friday 7:00am 3:00pm Occasional weekend working may be required \n

## What We're Looking For

\n

Essential:

Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticultural experience Experience using strimmers and pedestrian mowers Full UK Driving Licence Good understanding of Health & Safety Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather Reliable with a positive attitude and able to work well within a team \n

Desirable:

Experience operating ride-on mowers NVQ in Amenity Horticulture or a similar land-based qualification \n
