Funeral Services Operative

We have immediate positions available for Funeral Service Operatives, working closely with our Care teams as essential keyworkers for the last line of care.



This role is ideal if you want flexibility to suit your work/life balance?  Or you are looking for a second income?



If you can commit to a minimum of hours per week, are committed to exceptional customer care and want to work in a team environment in your community this role could be for you?



What you’ll need to do:



Your role will be to take the greatest care by delivering consistently high levels of client service to the deceased and their families throughout the client journey.



Responsibilities to include




  • Driving company vehicles

  • Bearing for funerals

  • Participating in the on-call arrangements and bringing deceased into our care

  • Coffin and preparation of the deceased, including coffin trimming



What we’ll need from you:



As a client facing role you will have excellent customer service skills and:




  • You will take pride in your appearance which will be professional at all times.  A uniform will be provided.

  • You may have already worked in the funeral industry but not essential as we will provide full training. 

  • You will need a full driving licence

  • Good level of physical fitness for heavy lifting.

  • Supply the necessary documentation for a full DBS check



During the recruitment and onboarding process we will be adhering to the social distancing guidance from the government.
