Job Title - Exams Coordinator Maternity Cover (Fixed Term Contract, initially 9 months)

Salary - £25,771 per annum (pro-rata if applicable)

Hours 37 hours per week, all year round

As our Exam Access Arrangements Coordinator, you wont just be managing paperworkyou will be the bridge between anxiety and achievement. You will lead the charge in identifying, planning, and implementing tailored exam accommodations, ensuring that students with diverse learning needs, disabilities, EHCPs, and mental health challenges have the exact support they need to thrive when it matters most.

Your Day-to-Day Mission

  • Be the Expert Architect: Design and implement tailored Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) from assessment to execution.
  • \n
  • Guard the Standards: Keep your finger on the pulse of Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and cascade updates to the wider team.
  • \n
  • Build the Blueprint: Maintain meticulous, audit-ready student evidence files (including Form 8s) that align with ALS funding and college MIS systems.
  • \n
  • Foster Connections: Build strong partnerships with feeder schools, external agencies, and internal teaching and exams departments.
  • \n
  • Champion Mental Health: Collaboratively strategize with the Wellbeing Team to support learners navigating mental health challenges during exam seasons.
  • \n

Technical & Regulatory Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of (or a rapid ability to master) JCQ regulations, EAA processes, and reasonable exam adjustments.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with specialist educational resources, assistive software, and EHCP / ALS funding compliance.
  • \n
  • Strong digital literacy to manage, audit, and update complex data within College MIS systems.
  • \n
