Job Title: English Teacher - Immediate Start Location: Coventry Salary: MPS/UPS Scale (£185-£255/day depending on experience and qualifications) Job Type: Full-Time and Term-Time Only Start Date: New Term Start Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, raising achievement, and fostering a love of English Language and Literature. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and achievement. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including parents' evenings and staff meetings.Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
