We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chef to join a busy countryside pub kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Salary & Hours\n
\n - Starting salary: £13.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
\n - Variable hours contract
\n - Minimum 37.5 50 hours per week
\n - Opportunities for additional hours during busy periods

Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
\n - Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
\n - Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance
\n - Assist with stock control, ordering, and rotation of ingredients
\n - Support menu development and contribute creative ideas
\n - Ensure consistent portion control and presentation standards
\n - Work across all kitchen sections as required
\n
Requirements\n
\n - Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar environment
\n - Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
\n - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
\n - Team player with good communication skills
\n - Passion for delivering high-quality food
\n - Must have the right to work in the UK
