Working closely with major industry companies, they deliver specialist training across electricity distribution and transmission, investing heavily into modern facilities, equipment and instructor development to ensure training reflects real-world industry standards.\n\nIn this role, you'll support and deliver training across LV and 11kV cable jointing, assist with technical power engineering qualifications, and assess learners against national standards.

You'll play a key role in developing engineers entering the industry while building your own long-term career within training and education. Full training and support will be provided, including teaching and assessor qualifications.\n\nThe ideal candidate will come from an electricity distribution, transmission or cable jointing background and hold strong practical knowledge within LV jointing activities. This role would suit someone who enjoys supporting others, communicating technical information and is looking for a more stable and rewarding career off the tools.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing training provider that offers genuine progression, long-term stability, ongoing development and the chance to build a rewarding career where your industry experience is truly valued.\n\nThe Role:\n\n*Deliver training across LV and 11kV cable jointing\n *Support technical certificates within power engineering\n *Assess learners against NVQ, Diploma and End Point Assessment standards\n *Design and develop training materials and packages\n *Deliver compliance and safety training related to distribution activities\n *Support learners throughout their training and assessment journey\n *Maintain training equipment and ensure industry standards are met\n *Travel to customer sites and training locations when required\n\nThe Person:\n\n*Background in electricity distribution, transmission or cable jointing\n *Minimum 5 years' experience within cable jointing activities\n *Hold a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject (City & Guilds or equivalent)\n *Hold or have previously held LV Jointing authorisation\n *Strong practical and technical knowledge\n *Good communication and organisational skills\n *Interested in moving into a trainer/instructor role\n *Full UK driving licence\n *Motivated to build a long-term career within training and education\n\nRise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.\n\nThe salary advertised is the bracket available for this position.
