They are also one of the UK's leading speaker bureaus, providing access to more than 900 world-class experts.\n\nThey are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to help organisations unlock the value of apprenticeship funding and develop their future talent.\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nThe Business Development Manager is a high-impact sales role offering genuine autonomy, strong earning potential, and the chance to shape your own success.\n\nYou will:\n\n✔ Generate new business opportunities and convert employer enquiries into apprenticeship starts\n\n✔ As the Business Development Manager you will advise organisations on apprenticeship levy funding and available training solutions\n\n✔ Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound sales activity, networking, referrals, and LinkedIn engagement\n\n✔ Develop long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and account growth\n\n✔ Prepare tailored proposals and commercial agreements that meet client objectives\n\n✔ Cross-sell and upsell a range of learning and development solutions\n\n✔ Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Learning & Development, and Finance teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes\n\n✔ Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting\n\n✔ Attend networking events and stay ahead of apprenticeship and workforce development trends\n\nWhat They Are Looking For:\n\nEssential\n\n * Minimum 2 years' experience within apprenticeship sales or business development\n\n * Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding and levy solutions\n\n * Proven ability to generate and convert new business opportunities\n\n * Consultative, solution-focused sales approach\n\n * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills\n\n * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\n * Established professional network across LinkedIn and relevant business communities\n\nYou'll Thrive If You Are:\n\n * Driven by targets and earning potential\n\n * Confident in outbound sales environments\n\n * Commercially minded and relationship-focused\n\n * Passionate about helping organisations develop their people\n\nWhy Join?\n\n * Work with world-class experts and industry-leading content\n\n * Sell highly relevant apprenticeship programmes in growth sectors\n\n * Enjoy genuine autonomy and ownership of your sales success\n\n * Be part of a culture built on excellence, integrity, and impact\n\n * Access ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities\n\n * Join a supportive, high-performance team that rewards achievement\n\nPaul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
